In Memoriam: George Karagich

Our beginnings stretch all the way back to 1957 when George Karagich emigrated with his wife Elizabeth from Yugoslavia. A diesel mechanic by trade, George worked on many large construction projects during the 60's and 70's including The Ord River Scheme in Western Australia, The South Eastern Freeway and the Tarcoola to Alice Rail link. George retired in 1996 and sadly passed away in 2005. He would have hardly imagined that  a family interest in heavy plant  and equipment would have evolved into a successful transport enterprise years later.
